Fall Recruitment Week

Chapters are dry and absent of women from Thursday September 24th to the end of Jump (Saturday October 3rd beginning at 10 am)

How to extend a bid this year:
Between now and the night of Friday October 2nd, you may extend your chapter bid to the recruit. Tell him to attend Jump to finalize his decision. Once in the MU before Jump he will present the bid card of the chapter he wishes to join, and fill out a card declaring the chapter he is joining along with the permanent IFC membership card. Then he prepares to go outside and you take it from there.

Connect Week
As far as required events are concerned everybody needs to bring as many chapter members as possible to the new student walk. I encourage you to attend more Connect events such as the all student picnic or free MU bowling each night. The schedule is online at http://oregonstate.edu/newstudents/connect/index.php . Other than that, we have it covered for connect week.

-Tuesday September 22nd New Student Walk 3:15-4:00 pm Convocation 4-5
Greek chapters line the entrance to Gill as the class of 2013 walks to attend the new student convocation. Last year this was key. Let’s make a good appearance again. President Ray, the Vice Provost, and the Dean of Students were all thrilled to see our appearance at both of these events.

Recruitment Week

-Monday September 28th Chapter Info in the Quad 4-7pm
Each chapter will have a table in the quad. Bring your schedule so you can signup for events through out the week. The tables will be more spread out so it doesn’t look like running the gauntlet. And be friendly!

-Tuesday September 29th – Friday October 2nd
Chapters host lunches, dinners, and events after dinner.

Saturday October 3rd IFC Jump recruits arrive at 9am and it begins at 10am
